Amazon is testing its AI-feature: “Buy for Me”

Amazon is testing a new AI-powered feature called Buy for Me. It’s still in beta, but the idea is pretty simple: shoppers can buy products from your brand’s website…without leaving the Amazon app.

Say a customer is shopping for something that Amazon doesn’t sell, but your brand does. Amazon’s AI steps in, places the order for your customer, and checks out all inside the app.

This is quite cool because…

  • You don’t need to pay and Amazon doesn’t take a commission (yet!)

  • Your brand gets visibility and orders inside Amazon

  • You don’t need to join Amazon’s merchant program
