Google’s AI shopping news
If you sell fashion or beauty products, this is for you. Google’s latest update (dated March 5) now helps online searchers to “try on” fashion and beauty products virtually, using AI.

As sellers, we want to ensure that our stores are featured when customers are testing and using Google’s new features to choose what products to buy.
To take advantage of these features, you need to help Google understand the products you’re selling. You can do this by:
updating your product data in Google Merchant Center. Google uses this data to make your products available in Google shopping, search, Google image search, Google maps, and Google lens
building authority by getting other third-party publications to talk about your products. Google clearly states that it learns about your products from your product listings as well as what others say about them.

This is why we share free media opportunities to help you get your products in these 3rd-party publications. Look out for our media newsletter this Wednesday if you want to take action on this!
If you have no clue about Google Merchant Center, or how to get your products there, this video from Google itself explains everything.
If you’re in the fashion/beauty niches, now’s the time to take action and position your store accordingly.
If on the other hand you would rather diversify where your products appear, Levanta is a great tool for leapfrogging your products into prominent positions on Amazon.
Unlock New Growth on Amazon
Growing on Amazon takes more than great products.

✅ Boost rankings – Amazon rewards external traffic with better search visibility and a 10% kickback.
Growth Hack: Static Meta ads vs. video
This week, I’ve seen a few reports like this one about static image ads outperforming video on Meta.

Not sure why this is happening, but if you’re advertising on Facebook, lean into it. Afterall, static ads are quicker and easier to produce so you can produce and test 10x faster than you can create video ads (especially if you’re using AI).
Just remember to:
✔ Use a strong headline (clear, benefit-driven)
✔ Add a clean, focused product shot (no distractions)
✔ Consider adding “mini-story” in one glance (context matters)
Perhaps this is down to Facebook’s feed prioritizing quick, digestible content that doesn’t force peopleto “commit” to watching… we’ll never know. But certainly do not miss out on the action.
Challenge: Create and test static ads
Especially if your Meta ads are underperforming, create multiple ads to test in your Meta ad account.
Ecom Trend: Testosterone gummies

Testosterone boosters are quietly exploding in the health & wellness market. Some quick stats:
Market size: $3.4B (2023)
Projected growth: 10.4% CAGR (2024-2030)
Why This Market is Surging
✔ Aging population (Testosterone declines naturally after 30)
✔ Increased fitness & sports interest (Testosterone fuels muscle growth & recovery)
✔ Convenience factor (Gummies > pills for many consumers)
If you sell in health & wellness, this could be a massive opportunity.
Private label brands can tap into the demand with their own formulations.
Affiliate marketers should test high-converting testosterone offers.
eCommerce brands can cross-sell testosterone boosters with fitness or sleep supplements.
This market isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
That’s a wrap for this week! If you’ve spotted interesting trends or tested something new in your business, I’d love to hear about it.
Until next time,
Ada
